About
I am Suzanne Riss, a divorce coach specializing in working with men navigating separation and life after divorce. My work is informed by years of facilitating divorce support groups and observing the distinct emotional, relational, and practical challenges men often face during this transition.
I am the co-author of The Optimist’s Guide to Divorce, a book drawn from years of conversations with individuals experiencing divorce and rebuilding their lives afterward. I have also co-authored Work Disrupted: Opportunity, Resilience, and Growth in the Accelerated Future of Work.
My work has been featured in outlets including Good Morning America, Today, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, CBS Early Show, NPR, CBS Radio Network, The Brian Lehrer Show, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and more, where I have written and spoken about divorce, resilience, parenting, and naviaging challenging life transitions.
My Approach
My approach is strength-based and goal-oriented, helping men navigate divorce with clarity and structure. We work together to refine your narrative, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies for a more confident, resilient, and intentional next chapter. I provide a safe, collaborative space where your goals guide the process.
